Brownies and Ginger Cookies

Christmas is almost here!!

So, I already have two blogs: You ate What? and Hippy Blues. But I thought I needed a good food blog as well. I want to create a space to show my cooking triumphs...And utter failures. It's all a journey anyway.

Today I am making brownies. Very poorly. Our oven is such a nuisance. More about that later. I've lost my camera, so I can't post pics of food yet. But I am hoping that I can get a functional and inexpensive one tomorrow, so that I can post pictures of the holiday meals that I will be making.

A few days ago, I made homemade spaghetti sauce and baked meatballs; per Emeril Lagasse's recipe. It was very easy and turned out very well! It was a hit!

I will post a picture of the finished terrible brownies--just to be fair.

Tomorrow I will be making green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole (never made the latter before--but I am a pro with the green bean casserole :)
